Do you have a nagging feeling to start a side hustle that you can’t shake?
But how does that look when you’re in the middle of searching for a job or making a career pivot?
When one of my Recruit the Employer clients reached out to me interested in starting a coaching side hustle but was also in the middle of a job search, I knew I wanted to make this an on air coaching call because I feel that this conversation would be really beneficial to people.

Action Steps to apply to YOUR journey:
Before you begin any steps of creating your program/offer/service, you need to go through these steps:
Who is my person?
Get really specific about who your ideal client is.
What do they care about?
Where do they live?
Where do they work?
What do they do in their free time?
Figure out the problem
Figure out what problem your ideal client is having.
Some questions to go through:
- How are you going to be the solution to that problem?
- What are you going to offer them?
- What do you want to help them accomplish?
- What’s in it for them in working with you?
- What is the transformation you hope to take them to and how will that benefit them?
- What’s going to happen if they don’t go through this transformation?
Think through what steps your ideal client needs to take to go from where they are currently to where you are promising to take them.
Beta test your offer
Find 2 people to do a beta test with your product/service for either free or at a discounted rate.
This will tell you if your idea is validated or what changes need to be made to your current offering.
BONUS TIP: You can tell them you’ll offer this for free if they recommend a friend to your product/service.
After the beta test is over:
- Ask for feedback.
- Get a testimonial to use on your website and marketing efforts.
I’m rooting for you friends!
